    UGBS’s Kobby Mensah becomes Certified MAXQDA Trainer

    Prof. Kobby Mensah, an Associate Professor at the Marketing and Entrepreneurship Department, has recently been certified as a MAXQDA trainer, enhancing his expertise in educational services. As a certified MAXQDA trainer, Prof. Mensah can now offer a range of specialised workshops and consulting services in MAXQDA, a computer aided qualitative data analysis software across the world.

    Prof Mensah’s expertise encompass a variety of essential areas: 

    • Standard and Advanced training designed for both beginners and advanced users. 
    • Visual Tools in MAXQDA’s visual analysis features. 
    • Qualitative Evaluation on techniques for assessing qualitative data. 
    • Twitter and Photo Analysis, specialised methods for analysing social media and photographic data. 

    He also holds training in extensive methodological expertise in AI application in qualitative data analysis and Conjoint Analysis. 

    With a PhD in Political Marketing, Prof. Mensah has extensive experience using MAXQDA for academic publications and has integrated it into teaching and research at MPhil and PhD levels. His certification as a MAXQDA trainer underscores his commitment to advancing qualitative research methods in Ghana and across the sub region.

    MAXQDA is a software programme designed for qualitative data analysis. It offers a wide range of tools to analyse and understand qualitative data, including the ability to code and categorise the data, identify patterns and themes, and create visual representations of the data.
